What to Expect...
There are a variety of ways to worship the Lord, and we thank God for allowing us to be creative in worship. But here at FUMC, this is how we usually worship our Creator:
What to expect at the Traditional Service (8:30 am): The traditional service meets in the 1800s sanctuary, and is for those who like a more structured church service, with hymns and organ & piano. Don't worry, the first service isn't too rigid--as you'll still find a few modern elements from time to time. Dress attire is "come as you are," but you will see more suits and ties in this service than our Contemporary Worship Gathering.
What to expect at the Contemproary Worship Gathering (11:00 am): This service is laid back, and for those who want more of a Spirit-led service, with a blended style of modern/contemporary/traditional music. We try to keep it real and genuine. Dress attire is "come as you are."
The pew Bible is the New International Version 1984.
Preaching may come from a variety of translations.
